Key Responsibilities:
- Release Planning & Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and manage release schedules and calendars to maintain alignment across multiple teams.
- Governance & Compliance: Track all release-related tickets and change records, ensuring proper documentation and required approvals are secured prior to production deployment.
- Deployment Oversight: Coordinate deployment pipelines and validate successful application releases.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the central point of contact to communicate release progress, timelines, and risks to key stakeholders.
- Troubleshooting & Escalation: Proactively identify release blockers, escalate risks, and collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to resolve deployment failures.
- Continuous Improvement: Conduct post-release reviews to capture lessons learned and refine deployment processes.
qualifications
Technical Skills Required
- Release Tracking & Coordination: Experience managing end-to-end release lifecycles and enforcing strict governance processes.
- Jira Management: Hands-on experience using Jira to track release tickets, user stories, defects, and change requests, as well as creating dashboards, custom filters, and reports.
- Experience using UCD to push deployments through UAT and Production environments.
- Software Development Knowledge (Asset): Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) concepts and application architecture to aid in release troubleshooting.
