The responsibilities pf the role include:

• Coordination of manufacturing and packaging of cosmetic products in line with the set standards.
• Ensuring that all manufacturing and packaging documentation have been completed and endorsed by suitably authorized staff.
• Develop and oversee production plans based on demand forecasts and inventory levels.
• Ensure optimal use of resources (equipment, manpower, materials).
• Minimize downtime and production delays.
• Assuring Regulatory Compliance of production operation.
• Responsible within the limits of policies and directives, for efficient management of the department.
• Participation in the planning and conduction of in-process controls (IPC).
• Ensuring the updating and maintenance of the appropriate documentation and rules to assure compliance with requirements for production.
• Conduction of analysis and proposing of measures for the achievement of better organization and performance of production.
• Participation in the setting of specifications for production.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and hygiene practices.
• Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate should obtain:

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong understanding of GMP and other regulatory standards
• Excellent knowledge of documentation practices and batch manufacturing records

• Ability to motivate, guide, and support production teams to achieve goals.
• Clear and effective communication with team members, management, and other departments.
• Quick thinking and resourcefulness in resolving production issues
• Efficiently prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet production deadlines.
• Making sound judgments under pressure to maintain workflow and productivity.
