As a payroll specialist your responsibilities will include:

• End-to-end payroll processing: Prepare and process accurate monthly payroll for 1,000 employees across 6 legal entities within strict deadlines.
• Time & attendance tracking (critical): Manage complex shift schedules, rotas, overtime, night shifts, allowances, as well as sick leave, maternity leave, and absences in compliance with greek labor law.
• System transition: Actively participate in the system migration project from pylon to SAP, assisting with data mapping, testing, and implementation.
• Reporting & compliance: Maintain accurate payroll databases, handle EFKA/ERGANI filings, and generate required payroll reports for management.
• Employee support: Act as a reliable point of contact for employee inquiries regarding payslips, benefits, working hours, and leave balances with excellent communication.

In order for your profile to match the payroll specialist position, you need to have the following skills:

• Experience: 3–4 years of proven experience in a dedicated payroll role, ideally in medium-to-large multi-entity environments.
• Shift & Leave Management: Hands-on experience with managing shifting rosters, complex working hours, and sickness/absence administration.
• Software Knowledge: Working experience with pylon is required; prior experience with SAP or participation in an ERP migration is a major plus.
• Education: Degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field.
• Languages: Excellent command of both greek and english (written and verbal).
• Skills: Strong communication skills, advanced microsoft excel skills, high attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential data.
