Your key responsibilities as a junior financial controller will be:

• Produces and monitors monthly cost analysis reports on all levels, pinpointing variances in actual/budget/ forecast/ figures and provides reasonable explanations for specific legal entities of the Group
• Prepares and timely submits monthly financial reporting package to Lead Financial Planning & Analysis
• Prepares Impairment testing for IFRS requirements
• Updates and maintains the financial model to ensure that the actual values agree with the values in ERP System
• Tracks expenses vs. budget/ previous year, analyses fluctuations
• Involved in the budgetary control of expenditure applications
• Compiles result analysis reports, and any other reports requested, with suitable deviation explanations
• Supports accounting by preparing all relevant provisions and by ensuring the accuracy of actual accounting information
• Assists in preparing detailed departmental and operational budgets
• Provides daily support to all the departments and ad hoc-financial reports
• Assists in economic evaluations of new and ongoing projects
• Assists in the preparation and follow up of product costing

To be an ideal candidate for the junior financial controller you should have:

• Master of Science (MSc) in Finance or relevant would be an asset
• Good knowledge of IFRS
• Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas)
• Familiarity with finance databases
• Hands-on experience with presenting financial data using detailed reports and charts
• Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Fluency in English

• To-do mentality and great team player

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a relevant position
