key responsibilities
As an IT Manager, you will have to:
- Define and implement global IT hardware and software standards to ensure operational fitness and scalability
- Oversee the full lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement of office equipment and meticulous control of hardware and software licensing
- Lead complex IT projects from conception to delivery while managing strategic relationships with global service providers
- Design and deploy custom integrations and add-ons using Python, Java, SQL, and Excel/VBA to optimize business workflows
- Develop and maintain advanced reporting suites and dashboards within PowerBI to support data-driven decision-making
- Administer the corporate SharePoint Intranet and provide high-quality technical support and systems training to the internal team
qualifications
The ideal candidate for the position of IT Manager will be expected to possess the following:
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams) and the Azure cloud platform
- Solid experience deploying enterprise-grade systems such as CRM, Accounting, Asset Management, or Trading platforms
- Demonstrated ability to manage third-party IT vendors and global service contracts effectively
- Previous experience in the Shipping or Financial sectors is highly preferred, including familiarity with industry tools like Bloomberg, Sedna, SteelEye, or ICE Chat
