key responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines to migrate legacy data warehouses to GCP.
- Build serverless, batch, and real-time streaming data products that move enterprise data across systems efficiently.
- Develop, deploy, and schedule complex workflows using Apache Airflow, GCP Composer, and Cloud Run.
- Implement clean, maintainable code using Git, GitHub Actions/GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Work directly within cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-impact data engineering services for strategic commercial initiatives.
qualifications
- Ηands-on data engineering experience designing and developing data flows, preferably on public cloud platforms.
- Expertise in BigQuery, serverless computing, and cloud-native data processing solutions would be considered as a strong plus.
- Excellent Python skills, along with experience in batch and streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Dataflow) would be considered as a strong advantage.
- Experience with orchestration (Airflow / Composer) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English.
