Your Key Responsibilities as a financial controller will be:

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts - upload finalized data into the Group performance management system. 
• Monthly Reporting: Prepare monthly management reports and presentations for senior leadership.
• Data Management: Extract, validate, map, and upload financial data into Group reporting systems (e.g., GPS). 
• Rebates & Accruals: Monitor and record rebate accruals, ensuring accurate financial postings.
• Warranty Provisions: Prepare and upload monthly warranty provision entries.
• Sales & Recycling Reporting: Extract and submit monthly sales and appliance recycling data to the After-Sales Service (ASS) department.
•  Inventory Reconciliations: Perform reconciliations between purchases, sales, and inventory balances.
• 3PL Stock Control: Reconcile third-party warehouse (3PL) inventory valuations with internal financial records.
• Stock-in-Transit: Collaborate with Supply Chain to reconcile goods in transit.
• Variance Analysis: Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, including shortages and surpluses. 
•  SAP Costing: Maintain and update standard costs, including annual rollforward processes. Record import transactions and allocate landed costs appropriately.
• Inventory Closing: Execute monthly inventory costing and maintain statutory warehouse records.
• Inventory Valuation: Prepare inventory devaluation reports for accounting purposes.
• Compliance & Audits: Support statutory reporting and annual physical inventory counts, including adjustment postings. 
• Accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
• Inventory reconciliation accuracy
• Timely resolution of discrepancies and variances 

To be an excellent fit for this financial controller position you should have:

•  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification is a plus).
• Experience: 2–4 years in FP&A, controlling, or accounting, preferably within a multinational retail or FMCG environment.
• ERP Systems: Experience with SAP (SAP B1 or other SAP environments) costing module exposure is an advantage.
• Data & BI Tools: Familiarity with business intelligence tools and financial reporting systems.
• Excel Skills: Advanced Excel capabilities (Power Query, pivot tables, lookups, data modeling).
• Languages: Native-level Greek and professional proficiency in English (written and spoken). Core Competencies
