Key accountabilities as Financial Controller:

• Prepare monthly closing and delivery of IFRS reporting packages.
• Oversee accounting activities across legal entities, ensuring accurate and timely bookkeeping.
• Conduct operating expenditure analysis and coordinate approval and reporting.
• Cooperate with tax consultants for the preparation of income tax filings.
• Manage statutory filings and external audits across legal entities, acting as the key point of contact for auditors.
• Maintain strong internal controls and process documentation to support compliance and audit readiness.
• Work closely with the transformation team to identify and prioritize process improvements and optimize the use of financial tools and systems to enhance efficiency and automation.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to senior management and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate for the position of Financial Controller will be expected to have the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, or related field.
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification highly preferred, ideally with experience in a Big Four firm.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial sector, preferably in an accounting or finance senior position.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with financial systems and a focus on process automation.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with end-to-end ownership.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the insurance sector is a plus
