As a Corporate Centre Buyer, your responsibilities will be:

• Managing complex and multi-category procurement processes (RFx) and negotiating contracts with vendors to secure competitive pricing and ensure quality standards.
• Identifying and establishing relationships with profitable suppliers and initiating long-term procurement partnerships.
• Reviewing and maintaining contracts, service agreements, and supplier performance.
• Recommending and coordinating the purchase of goods and services aligned with the Bank’s operational needs.
• Monitoring utility consumption and seeking cost optimization opportunities.
• Managing office space allocation, insurance plans, and related service contracts.
• Tracking key procurement metrics to drive efficiencies and reduce operational costs.
• Acting as a liaison between internal business units, suppliers, and external partners, ensuring smooth coordination and compliance.
• Ensuring that all procurement activities are aligned with the Bank’s standards for quality, compliance, and value-for-money.

The ideal candidate for the position of Corporate Centre Buyer will have:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a relevant field.
• At least 7 years of experience in procurement or a related project management role, preferably in a corporate or financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, budgeting, cost control, and supplier management.
• Excellent data analysis skills and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Project Management certification and/or IFPSM/CIPS certification (highly desirable).
• Fluent command of English, both written and spoken.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
