key responsibilities
For the role of Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the construction and civil works for a major new airport facility and four additional radar and sensor sites.
- Monitoring subcontractor performance, strictly tracking contract obligations, and ensuring project milestones are met.
- Coordinating the installation of complex electronic systems, FIR systems, and sensors.
- Managing and supporting a specialized technical team operating across multiple locations, including Chania.
- Ensuring all civil works design and construction phases adhere to stringent quality and safety standards.
- Liaising with international partners, vendors, and local stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of all infrastructure systems.
qualifications
For the role of Construction Project Manager, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Solid understanding of civil infrastructure works and electronic system installations
- Excellent command of English and Greek, written and spoken
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and project management software
