key responsibilities
The main responsibilities for the Technical Support Specialist position are:
- Programming and parameterization of automation in cooling applications.
- Supporting technical projects and communicating with clients/partners at a technical level.
- Collaborating with the rest of the team to implement innovative solutions.
- Documentation and project monitoring using tools such as Microsoft Office, CRM & ERP (Softone).
- Creating & translating technical manuals.
- Occasional travel abroad (once per year).
- Occasional on-site visits for commissioning.
qualifications
In order for your profile to meet the requirements of the Technical Support Specialist position, the following skills are needed:
- Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Automation Engineering (from a University, Technological Educational Institute (TEI), Vocational Training Institute (IEK), or Vocational Lyceum (EPAL).
- Prior experience in one of the following sectors: refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, ventilation, or energy systems.
- Ability to create or parameterize the operational logic in control systems.
- Experience with programming & supporting cooling controllers or similar logic for Networks (TCP/IP).
- Basic knowledge of HTML.
- Excellent knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office.
- Driver's license.
