key responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
- Review requirements and technical specs with a critical eye
- Design and execute manual and automated test plans (white/black box)
- Perform smoke, sanity, regression, and functional testing
- Log and track bugs—be the guardian of quality
- Create and maintain automated test scripts
- Support UAT with clients and troubleshoot live environment issues
- Collaborate with developers, PMs, and support teams to ensure smooth releases
qualifications
What You Bring:
- 2+ years of hands-on QA or software testing experience
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies & SDLC
- Experience with Jira, XRay, TestLink, and scripting (preferably Python)
- Knowledge of SQL, HTTP, TCP/IP, and working across Linux/Windows/Unix
- Exposure to secure coding & QA standards (OWASP, NIST)
- Bonus: test automation frameworks or test pipeline know-how
Knowledge of the following will be considered as a plus:
- Collaboration Tools (Confluence)
- CI tools (Jenkins)
- Wireshark/tcpdump/Ethereal
- Docker
- Git
