• Defensive Security & SIEM/SOAR Evolution: Advance and maintain the enterprise SIEM/SOAR platform (ideally Google SecOps / Chronicle) to ensure continuous monitoring and robust threat detection.
• SOC & Incident Response Collaboration: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the external SOC, co-managing threat handling, incident escalations, and remediation strategies.
• Security Automation & Scripting: Design and deploy automated playbooks and workflows using scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) to optimize security operations and response times.
• Vulnerability & Endpoint Management: Manage EDR solutions across diverse endpoints (e.g., Microsoft Defender, Jamf) and perform proactive vulnerability management using cloud security tools (e.g., Google SCC).
• Infrastructure & Network Protection: Oversee enterprise firewalls, secure IT infrastructure, and implement defensive controls based on offensive testing and ethical hacking principles.
• Compliance & Framework Alignment: Ensure systems and security controls adhere to international security standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, BSI-IT Grundschutz, BCM).

Technical Skills Required:

• SIEM / SOAR & Scripting: Hands-on expertise with SIEM/SOAR platforms (preference for Google SecOps / Chronicle) and strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation.
• Endpoint & Cloud Security: Practical experience with EDR tools (Microsoft Defender, Jamf) and posture/vulnerability management tools (Google SCC).
• Network & Defensive Security: Solid understanding of Enterprise Firewalls, network protocols, and Defensive Security mechanisms, supported by foundational knowledge in Ethical Hacking / Offensive Security.
• Frameworks & Compliance: Sound comprehension of security frameworks (ISO 27001, BSI-IT Grundschutz) and Business Continuity Management (BCM).
• Education & Languages: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field; fluent in English (written and spoken).
