The responsibilities of this Sales Engineer role are:

• Identify business opportunities in a competitive market; lead the creation, editing, and writing of high-level technical proposals.
• Coordinate with engineering, factories, and field service groups to resolve technical configurations and scope changes during the quoting process.
• Manage projects from initiation to Final Acceptance (FAC), including contract reading, risk assessment, and financial controlling.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customer complaints and equipment issues, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
• Manage spare parts inquiries (RFQs), drive improvements for urgent customer shutdowns, and maintain accurate data within CRM (Salesforce) and SAP tools.

The qualifications for this Sales Engineer role are:

• University degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing cross-organizational projects.
• Deep understanding of turbomachinery packages, driven units, and the industrial/power generation markets.
• Proven track record in project execution and financial oversight (costing, reporting, and risk mitigation).
• Great command of English language (verbal/written)

• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to interpret complex contracts.
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and maintain knowledge of a broad product range (Steam Turbines & Generators).
• A methodical, self-supporting team player who can present effectively to various stakeholders and respect diverse cultural customs.
