key responsibilities
- Lead global engineering and technology transfer projects from inception to final delivery, acting as the primary technical interface for international partners, manufacturers, and vendors.
- Oversee international equipment production, delivery logistics, timeline adherence, and contractor management.
- Design and refine processing line layouts to enhance throughput and efficiency across facilities.
- Manage unit-level expansions, equipment installations, upgrades, and civil infrastructure enhancements.
- Draft comprehensive technical specifications, solicit and evaluate bids, negotiate technical terms, and manage equipment suppliers globally.
- Supervise equipment manufacturing off-site, oversee site installation, and drive testing, commissioning, and final handover protocols.
- Author clear, standardized operating manuals, technical data sheets, and layout drawings in both English and Greek.
- Drive project management deliverables for European R&D initiatives, tracking milestones, technical documentation, and eligible project expenditures in collaboration with consortium partners.
- Develop detailed investment plans, cost-benefit models, payback period analyses, and business cases to support executive decision-making.
- Assist in technical filings for public funding programs and regulatory permitting in coordination with internal compliance teams.
- Maintain comprehensive project files (contracts, schedules, engineering specs, change orders, and delivery protocols).
- Monitor project KPIs, budgets, and risk mitigation, delivering regular status updates directly to the General Manager.
qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related industrial engineering discipline
- Full professional proficiency in English (oral and written) is mandatory, as daily operations involve continuous communication with international partners and suppliers.
- Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD for line design and layout evaluation.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and familiarity with AI-driven productivity tools.
