The responsibilities of the Procurement Officer will include:

• Lead end-to-end procurement processes for assigned categories, ensuring optimal balance between cost, quality, lead times, and service delivery.
• Manage vendor onboarding, evaluation, and continuous qualification. Conduct supplier performance reviews (KPIs, SLAs) and mitigate risk within the supply chain. 
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and service agreements with key suppliers. Oversee contract lifecycles, renewals, and legal compliance in line with Group standards.
• Perform detailed market research and spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, efficiency gains, and strategic sourcing initiatives. 
• Drive the implementation of company's procurement policies, sustainable sourcing guidelines, and internal controls. Ensure full audit readiness and compliance across all purchasing workflows.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, Logistics, and Plant Operations to streamline demand planning and resolve procurement challenges proactively.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, or Engineering. A Master’s degree or professional procurement certification (e.g., CIPS, CSCP) will be considered an asset.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Entersoft, SAP, or similar). Strong competency in data analysis and financial tracking.
• Solid understanding of strategic sourcing methodologies, contract terms, supplier audit processes, and risk management. 
• Fluency in Greek and English (both written and spoken). 

• Strong negotiation and analytical thinking skills.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and problem-solving abilities. High level of integrity, professional ethics, and accountability.

• 3–5 years of proven experience as Procurement departments in the industrial field.
