The responsibilities of the Procurement Assistant are the following:

• Supporting and facilitating the daily operations and administrative workflows of the procurement department
• Assisting in maintaining regular communication and positive relationships with suppliers
• Contributing to the continuous improvement and efficient execution of procurement processes
• Assisting with supplier inquiries, price quotation requests, and preliminary evaluations based on price, quality, and delivery terms
• Creating, issuing, and tracking Purchase Orders (POs) and assisting with contract documentation
• Collaborating with the production and warehouse teams to monitor inventory levels and delivery schedules
• Assisting in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and preparing procurement reports for management
• Ensuring purchase records and documentation comply fully with company policies, regulations, and internal procedures

The ideal candidate for the position of the Procurement Assistant will be expected to possess the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• At least 1–2 years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain support experience in technology, heavy industry, or related sectors
• Data-oriented mindset with high attention to detail and comfort leveraging modern digital tools
• Basic understanding of supplier coordination, purchase orders, and standard commercial terms
• Practical experience or familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Navision, or similar) and MS Excel
• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken); knowledge of German will be an asset
