key responsibilities
As a Paintshop Coordinator your main responsibilities are:
- Provide daily guidance to Paintshop staff, supporting their training, development, and shift schedule
- Support the powder coating process for metal objects and monitor the chemical pre-treatment stages
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with quality, environmental, and health & safety policies
- Assist with the handling and replenishment of chemical solutions (acids/liquids) according to established safety procedures
- Perform quality checks, assist with product measurements, and provide data to the supervisor for resource planning
- Contribute suggestions for improvements related to safety, quality, and production efficiency
qualifications
The ideal candidate for the position of Paintshop Coordinator will be expected to possess the following:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
- 3–5 years of experience in powder coating of metal objects or relevant industrial manufacturing
- Strong teamwork and coordination skills with the ability to take initiative
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems (SAP experience is a significant plus)
- Advanced proficiency in English (oral and written)
- Ability to work on rotating shifts
