As a Packaging Engineer your main responsibilities are:

• Design and develop packaging for new and existing products (primary, secondary, tertiary).
• Evaluate materials, designs, and suppliers to optimize cost, performance, and sustainability.
• Conduct packaging tests and document results.
• Ensure packaging complies with legal, safety, and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with R&D, marketing, production, and procurement teams to align on packaging needs.
• Support packaging line trials and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain packaging specifications and BOMs (Bills of Materials).
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in packaging processes and materials.

The ideal candidate for the position of Packaging Engineer will be expected to possess the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience in industrial packaging development.
• Knowledge of packaging materials (plastics, paperboard, corrugated, films, etc.).
• Familiarity with CAD design tools and packaging test methods.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Awareness of sustainability and eco-design principles.
• Advanced English knowledge (oral and written)
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office; EPR Systems knowledge (preferably SAP) will be considered a plus

• Strong organizational skills with expertise in managing teams and multiple tasks
