As a Network & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's network infrastructure. You'll also be actively involved in information security and compliance with international standards like ISO/IEC 27001.

More specifically, you will:

• Manage and maintain corporate LAN/WAN, WLAN, VPN, firewall, switches, and routers.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance and security issues.
• Implement and configure security policies on firewalls (Palo Alto knowledge is preferred).
• Contribute to projects for ISO 27001 compliance, especially in infrastructure security, access control, and risk management.
• Support security audits.
• Monitor logs, alerts, and reporting via SIEM or other tools.

In order for your experience to match this exciting Network & Security Engineer position, you need to have the following:

• A degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience as a Network Engineer or in a related role.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF). 
• Experience with firewall systems and network security appliances, preferably Palo Alto.
• Experience in Aruba routers and switches.
• Familiarity with security frameworks, especially ISO 27001.
• Experience in managing access control, patching, and backup/restore.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written Greek and English.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
• Collaborative and team-oriented approach.
• Effective organizational and time management skills, especially under pressure.
• Adaptability and a proactive approach in a dynamic environment.

2+ years of professional experience as a Network Engineer or in a related role.
