key responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Legal associate role include:
- Assisting in real estate finance and securitization, as well as leasing and sale-and-lease-back schemes.
- Drafting and reviewing security packages and ensuring their perfection.
- Conducting legal due diligence on ownership titles, certificates, land registry, and cadastral books.
- Drafting and reviewing finance documents.
- Drafting and negotiating lease and commercial cooperation agreements.
- Advising on compliance with planning and zoning legislation.
qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Legal associate position should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law; LL.M. or other advanced legal qualifications on property law are preferred
- Admission to the Greek Bar
- Proven experience in handling complex Real Estate transactions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- Strong client management skills with a commercial mindset
