The IT Manager will have the following responsibilities:

• Define and implement global IT hardware and software standards to ensure all systems are high-performing and fit-for-purpose
• Oversee the procurement of IT equipment and maintain rigorous control over hardware assets and software licensing
• Act as the primary lead for IT projects, managing strategic relationships with global service providers across multiple time zones
• Develop custom add-ons and seamless integrations using Python, Java, SQL, and Excel/VBA to optimize trading and operational workflows
• Design and maintain advanced reporting suites and interactive dashboards using PowerBI
• Manage the company Intranet (SharePoint), deliver system training, and provide proactive support for general IT issues to ensure zero downtime

The ideal candidate should have the below for the IT Manager role:

• Expert-level proficiency in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams) and Azure platforms
• Proven experience in SQL, PowerBI, and Excel/VBA programming, alongside general coding skills in Python or Java
• Demonstrated success in rolling out commercial-standard enterprise software (e.g., CRM, Accounting, Trading, or Communication systems)
• Prior experience within the Shipping or Financial industries is a significant advantage
• Familiarity with industry-specific tools such as Bloomberg Terminals, Sedna, SteelEye, Cloud9, or ICE Chat is highly desirable
• An extroverted, optimistic, and self-driven professional with a supportive mindset. You must be comfortable seeking out information independently and interacting with diverse teams in a high-pressure environment
