key responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure & Network Oversight: Maintain and optimize the company’s server environment, local networks (LAN/WAN), and connectivity.
- Systems Availability: Ensure business continuity by monitoring system health and performing regular maintenance.
- Technical Support Coordination: Supervise and participate in the resolution of hardware and software issues for all internal users.
- Data Security & Recovery: Implement robust security protocols, manage firewalls, and oversee strict backup and disaster recovery procedures.
- Vendor & Project Management: Liaise with external technology partners and software providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- IT Asset Management: Manage the lifecycle of all IT equipment, from procurement to maintenance and upgrades.
qualifications
What you bring to the team
- Education: University or Technical degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: Proven track record in IT Administration or IT Management (experience within a manufacturing or industrial setting is highly valued).
- Solid experience with Windows Server environments and core networking (Switching, Routing, WiFi).
- Familiarity with ERP systems and business software is a plus.
- Languages: Fluency in Greek and English.
- Personality: Strong organizational skills, a problem-solving "can-do" attitude, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
