As a GIS Technical Project Manager, you will join a leading IT services provider with innovative projects but in private and in the public sector. You will lead the implementation of a GIS digitization project acting as a liaison between the client and the development team. More specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Managing the end-to-end project lifecycle, from planning and design through to execution, monitoring, and final delivery.
• Acting as the primary liaison between the end-client, the company, and the software development team.
• Translating business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Overseeing the development team, ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of software components based on the project’s needs.
• Reviewing and validating all technical deliverables to ensure they align with project scope and quality standards.
• Coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions with the client and securing formal approval of deliverables.
• Serving as the subject matter expert for the project's core GIS platform (Smallworld Electric Office).

In order for your profile to match this GIS Technical Project Manager role, you need to have the following skills:

• Degree in Computer Science, Geoinformatics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in GIS software implementation and/or development.
• Deep understanding of GIS architecture, data models, and principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in both Greek and English (written and verbal).
• Experience with the GE Smallworld platform (especially Electric Office) will be considered a major asset.
