key responsibilities
As an Electrical Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Design and develop electrical and electronic circuit drawings, schematics, and PCB layouts for new and existing products.
- Develop embedded system architectures, including microcontroller selection and C/C++ firmware integration.
- Create and manage detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) and oversee hands-on prototype assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Manage product compliance, safety standards, and formal certification processes.
- Prepare technical proposals and contribute to cost analysis for products and service solutions.
- Conduct site surveys at customer premises to identify optimal technical circuit and distribution solutions.
- Provide technical support and presentations to the sales team and offer post-sales customer support.
qualifications
For the Electrical Design Engineer position, you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a Polytechnic School (ΕΜΠ, ΑΠΘ, Πάτρας).
- Solid experience in electrical schematic design tools (EPLAN Electric, SolidWorks Electrical, or AutoCAD Electrical).
- Strong practical experience with PCB and electronic circuit design tools (Altium Designer or equivalent).
- Practical knowledge of microcontroller programming (C/C++) for control and sensing circuits.
- Proficiency in MS Office and fluency in English (written and verbal).
