As a Database Administrator, you’ll play a pivotal role in bridging customer needs with innovative technology solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Install and configure Oracle Standard and XE databases on both Windows and Linux environments
• Design and create database objects, including users, tables, indexes, views, procedures, and functions
• Monitor database performance and apply tuning and optimization techniques as needed
• Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies using RMAN, export utilities, and other methods
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and system availability
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application performance and ensure efficient data access
• Provide support and troubleshoot database issues, including on-call incident resolution
• Prepare runtime environments and perform software application installations as needed

What do you need to have as a Database Administrator ?

• 2 years of relevant experience
• Basic knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
• Scripting ability in Windows and Linux environments, including use of sqlplus
• Ability to design and manage backup & recovery plans
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a team environment
