    Key Responsibilities

    • Metadata & Lineage Integration: Connect Looker to Collibra and build automated pipelines to harvest report lineage and metadata from ETL layers.
    • Report Catalog: Maintain a central inventory of standard reports tracking ownership, update frequency, and expiration dates.
    • Data Quality: Design quality controls, set up automated monitoring rules, and build reconciliation dashboards.
    • Data Privacy & GDPR: Implement PII controls, anonymization processes, and data retention policies across GCP, Looker, and Marketplace platforms.
    • Marketplace Automation: Automate lifecycle workflows (onboarding approvals, ownership changes, and archival) using Collibra.

  • qualifications

    Technical Skills & Qualifications

    • Data Governance & Cataloging: Hands-on experience with Collibra for enterprise metadata management, data cataloging, and automated lineage integration.
    • GCP & Data Ecosystem: Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data architectures and BI/Semantic layer integration with Looker.
    • Lineage & Metadata Automation: Proven experience building automated metadata harvesting tools, parsing ETL pipelines, and implementing recurring polling mechanisms.
    • Data Quality & Privacy Frameworks: Practical knowledge of designing data quality monitoring rules, automated reconciliation dashboards, and implementing GDPR/PII privacy controls (anonymization, retention policies).
    • Process Automation: Background in driving operational efficiencies by automating governance workflows, approval gates, and report lifecycle controls within data marketplaces.
