• Team Leadership & Performance: Lead, mentor, and empower the Credit Control team to ensure high operational standards, alignment with financial targets, and continuous professional development.
• Global Cash Collections & Cashflow Optimization: Direct global debt collection strategies, monitor Aged Debtors, reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), and optimize cash collection forecasts across multiple regions.
• Outsourced Partner Management: Oversee and manage day-to-day operations with external outsourced business partners (BPO), ensuring strict adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and quality benchmarks.
• Credit Risk Assessment & Policy Enforcement: Establish, evaluate, and enforce group credit policies, customer risk assessments, bad debt provisions, and credit limit approvals.
• International Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate cross-functionally across global finance, legal, and commercial teams to resolve complex customer disputes and streamline end-to-end OTC (Order-to-Cash) processes.
• Reporting & Compliance: Develop comprehensive monthly credit management reporting (ageing analyses, risk exposure, collection metrics) for senior management, while ensuring compliance with internal controls and external audits.

Minimum 5+ years of proven experience as a Credit Control Manager or Team Leader.Mandatory experience within the Maritime industry or maritime-related professional services.Demonstrated international exposure working across multiple regions beyond Greece/Southern Europe (e.g., Global, EMEA, APAC, or Americas).Proven track record of successfully managing and collaborating with third-party outsourced partners (BPO).Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration. A Master’s degree or professional qualification (e.g., CICM, ACCA) is considered a strong asset.Strong hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics) and advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.Excellent command of English (written and verbal), as the position operates in a global business environment.Strong leadership qualities, an entrepreneurial mindset, exceptional negotiation skills, and a strategic approach to problem-solving.
