To support this strategic expansion, they are seeking a driven and technically sound Chemical Engineer – Electroplating (m/f) to lead commissioning, process setup, and ongoing plating operations within a safety-first, growth-oriented environment.

key responsibilities
For the role of Chemical Engineer – Electroplating, you will be responsible for:
- Participating actively in the installation, commissioning, and operational start-up of the new 60-meter automated electroplating line
- Monitoring and managing electrochemical processes, plating baths, and chemical solution parameters
- Developing, testing, and fine-tuning chemical recipes and operating standards in collaboration with international suppliers and specialized technical consultants
- Planning, scheduling, and supervising daily production processes while ensuring strict quality standards
- Coordinating and mentoring the production shift teams
- Ensuring compliance with chemical handling safety protocols and overseeing wastewater treatment systems, supporting the roadmap toward Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD)
qualifications
For the role of Chemical Engineer – Electroplating, you will need:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Metallurgy, or a related discipline
- At least 2 years of professional experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Previous experience in electroplating, surface treatment, or electrochemical processes is considered an asset
- Solid understanding of solution chemistry and process control parameters
- Hands-on approach with strong organizational and coordination capabilities
- Good command of English and Greek, both written and spoken
- Proficiency in MS Office and production/ERP software
