The responsibilities of this Business Development Manager are: 

• Drive direct business development initiatives by engaging directly with C-level executives, Shipowners, Technical Directors, and New-building Managers.   
• Develop and present tailored, project-specific value propositions (highlighting technical superiority and cost benefits vs. competitors) for new-build and retrofit projects.   
• Serve as the main bridge between maritime clients and the overseas manufacturing team, ensuring alignment on technical specifications, lead times, and custom orders.   
• Monitor new shipbuilding projects (new-build programs), maintain an active project pipeline, and foster long-term relationships of trust across the Greek shipping community.

The qualifications of this Business Development Manager are: 

• Proven commercial or business development track record strictly within the maritime industry, marine equipment supply, or technical ship management
• Solid practical grasp of ship operations, newbuilding projects, and deck/container securing systems (an engineering background is beneficial, but hands-on operational understanding is key)
• Professional fluency in English is mandatory. Basic conversational Mandarin/Chinese is a valuable asset, though not required.
• Microsoft literacy

• Ability to speak the "language" of shipowners and hold impactful, peer-level business discussions.
• Skilled in solution-oriented selling rather than transaction-focused pitching.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to cultivate trust-based, long-term industry network connections.
