The responsibilities of this Business Development Manager are:

• Design and execute a comprehensive strategic business plan to achieve ambitious sales targets, specifically focusing on expanding the Freight Forwarding customer base.
• Actively seek out and secure new customers while achieving significant growth (upselling and cross-selling) within the existing portfolio.
• Identify emerging market shifts, new products, and competitive threats, translating this awareness into actionable business opportunities.
• Actively support Headquarter-driven projects and implement business expansion strategies across regional business units.
• Prepare and present accurate sales, revenue, and expense reports, providing realistic forecasts to the senior management team.
• Build and maintain strong, cooperative relationships with carriers and other key suppliers to ensure service excellence.

The qualifications of this Business Development Manager are:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related Commercial discipline.
• Excellent communication skills in English, additional European languages or Korean are an advantage.
• Great computer literacy. 
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in a comparable Business Development or Sales role within the Freight Forwarding industry, including relevant supply chain experience in a complex logistics environment.
• A strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals through consultative selling, consistently matching customer needs to high-value solutions.
• Proven experience in project management.

• Highly developed skills in Conceptual thinking, with an inventive approach to solution design.
• Successful negotiation skills coupled with a strong commercial and profit-driven mindset.
• A hands-on mentality with a high degree of cultural awareness, eager to take initiative, identify new opportunities, and consistently deliver targets.

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in a comparable Business Development or Sales role.
