As a Senior Billing & Invoicing Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing, reviewing, and issuing accurate invoices based on complex pricing terms, tuition fees, and service agreements.
• Managing advanced billing scenarios, including milestone billing, recurring invoices, credits, and rebate reconciliations.
• Ensuring all invoicing is completed within strict timelines to support healthy cash flow and revenue collection.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards (IFRS / GAAP).
• Supporting month-end and year-end close activities, including revenue recognition and variance analysis.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for escalated billing discrepancies and resolving them professionally.
• Collaborating with Sales, Legal, and Operations to clarify contractual terms affecting billing.
• Leading process improvement initiatives to automate workflows and optimize ERP/billing system performance.
• Coaching and mentoring junior billing staff to ensure high standards across the team.

To be the ideal candidate for this Senior Billing & Invoicing Specialist role, you should possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience in billing, invoicing, or broader "order-to-cash" functions.
• Expertise in handling high transaction volumes and complex billing structures.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles related to revenue recognition.
• Proficiency in using major ERP systems 
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data reconciliation and reporting.
• Professional fluency in both English and Greek (written and verbal).
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• A customer-service mindset and excellent interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
