key responsibilities
As a BI Engineer , your main duties will include:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI (or similar tools) to support decision-making across departments
- Connect to and extract meaningful data from SAP BW and other enterprise sources to ensure reporting accuracy
- Develop and implement low-code solutions using Power Apps to streamline workflows and automate manual data entry tasks
- Monitor data integrity and perform regular audits to ensure the reliability of all business reports
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions
qualifications
The ideal candidate for the BI Engineer position should possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
- Proven experience (academic or internship) with Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik. Strong understanding of DAX and Power Query is a major plus
- Familiarity with SAP BW or similar environments (SAP HANA, SQL Server)
- Basic knowledge or hands-on experience with Power Apps or Power Automate
- Strong ability to analyze complex datasets and present them in a clear, visual manner
- Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal)
