• Review all documentation received from the Agency alongside past audit reports.
• Collect and consolidate relevant data and materials from various HQ Departments.
• Analyze information to establish a targeted action plan for each agency, prioritizing high-risk operational areas.
• Travel to various global MSC Agencies to conduct interviews with local teams and gather necessary audit evidence.
• Assist Senior Auditors and the Chief Internal Auditor in evaluating the effectiveness of risk management frameworks.
• Document findings, testing procedures, and results using corporate templates.
• Support Senior Auditors in conducting risk assessments across core business activities.
• Contribute to drafting comprehensive audit reports, outlining detailed observations, control deficiencies, and actionable recommendations.
• Populate standardized Word and Excel templates, distribute final reports to Agencies, and follow up on corrective action plans to monitor ongoing compliance.
• Escalate urgent risks and operational bottlenecks to executive management for timely resolution.
• Help prepare presentation deliverables and executive reporting packages for Agency Boards of Directors, Group Management, and relevant HQ departments.

Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Internal or External Audit.Master’s degree with a specialization in Auditing, Corporate Finance, or Business Management.Sound knowledge of the Shipping/Maritime industry and/or at least 2 years in a comparable role within a global B2B environment.Excellent command of written and spoken English; proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset.Proven understanding of international auditing standards, methodologies, and internal control frameworks.Advanced computer literacy across MS Office, ERP systems (such as SAP), and databases.Advanced Excel capabilities with proven experience in handling large datasets and building structured financial reports.Sharp analytical thinking with high attention to detail and precision.Willingness and availability for extensive international travel (~40%).Strong professional ethics, integrity, objectivity, and strict adherence to confidentiality.Collaborative team player with the capability to operate autonomously and manage tight deadlines effectively.Strong professional judgment to assess controls and deliver meaningful solutions in environments with evolving or partially formalized procedures.Inquisitive mindset with a strong drive for continuous professional development and knowledge sharing.
