The responsibilities of assistant accountant role are the below:

• Entering and managing transactional data within SAP and Hyper, complemented by strict account reconciliation and balance control.
• Creating insightful analytical reports and dynamic dashboards using Excel. Includes performing detailed Cash Flow Analysis and forecasting to support strategic planning.
• Active collaboration with the accounting team to successfully complete monthly and quarterly closings, and providing essential documentation and support for internal and external audits and financial reviews.
• Driving efficiency by leveraging AI tools and agents to automate tasks and continually optimizing accounting procedures through technology implementation.
• Preparing accurate financial statements and executive-level management reports for decision-makers.

The qualifications of the assistant accountant role are:

• Degree in Accounting, Economics, or a related field/specialty
• At least 2 years of experience in an accounting department
• Knowledge of Greek tax legislation and accounting standards
• Excellent knowledge of SAP, excel and AI tools
• Very good knowledge of english
