key responsibilities
As a vital member of the Smart Metering & Apps Department, you will be at the forefront of providing excellent customer service, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and ensuring our systems operate smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting and managing smart metering products and services
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues while delivering excellent customer service
- Analyzing customer requirements and proposing appropriate technical solutions
- Developing and providing technical documentation and temporary workarounds when needed
qualifications
To excel in the role of Application Support Engineer, you should possess:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- A postgraduate degree in Engineering, IT, or Computer Science is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with IT systems.
- Experience with solutions involving both software and hardware.
- Knowledge of SQL and data analysis.
- Basic programming skills.
- Strong technical and business understanding of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and/or Meter Data Management (MDM) systems is a plus.
