As a Middle level Accountant your responsibilities will include:

• Prepare statutory financial statements under international frameworks (like UK/US GAAP) for review and approval by senior management.
• Gather and organize the required data for quarterly VAT filings and international regulatory reporting submissions.Deliver monthly management accounts and perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations for specific group companies.
• Manage the statutory accounting for the local entity, ensuring strict adherence to Greek tax and VAT regulations.
• Guide junior accounting staff by reviewing their day-to-day work to maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors during the year-end audit cycle, efficiently handling all data and documentation requests.

In order for your profile to match the Middle level Accountant position, you need to have the following skills:

• Exceptional proficiency in both spoken and written English is mandatory.
• Hold or be actively pursuing a recognized professional accounting certification (such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, or a Greek equivalent).
• 4–6 years of relevant professional experience, ideally with hands-on knowledge of international accounting principles.
• Demonstrated ability to manage accounting for multi-company or cross-border groups; a background in asset management or financial services is a major plus.
• Comfortable operating in a remote reporting structure and following established review procedures with senior finance leaders.
• Experience with advanced accounting or ERP systems, with specific knowledge of Workday being highly desirable.
