The responsibilities of the Group Fire Protection Manager include:

• Group Governance & Standardization: Author, implement, and enforce the unified Group Fire Protection Standard. Establish strict minimum technical requirements applicable to all international manufacturing sites while aligning with local legislations, international standards, and corporate insurance mandates.
• Global Collaboration & Advisory: Act as the primary technical advisor to local Plant Managers,maintenance teams, HSE managers, and dedicated local fire protection specialists across all globalfacilities to synchronize safety operations.
• Risk Assessment & Hazard Mitigation: Maintain and regularly update the Group Fire Risk Register.Conduct comprehensive Fire Risk Assessments targeting specific high-load hazards including extrusion lines, masterbatch compounding units, silo systems, pneumatic conveyors, and dust collection networks.
• CAPEX Project Engineering & Design: Oversee large-scale fire safety capital investments. Define theBasis of Design (BOD), draft technical specifications, review contractor tender packages, and spearhead technical bid evaluations for critical infrastructure (fire pump houses, water tanks, underground main rings, ESFR/In-rack sprinklers, and smart detection systems).
• Commissioning, Acceptance & Handover: Review and approve all commissioning protocols. Personally participate in final acceptance flow testing and system handovers, systematically shielding the Group from defective designs, incomplete submittals, or contractor deviations.
• Global Auditing & Impairment Management: Lead periodic, structured fire protection audits at each site and rigidly track corrective actions. Establish rigorous corporate protocols for fire system impairments, hot work permits, and safety Management of Change (MOC).
• Culture & Emergency Preparedness: Foster an unyielding culture of technical discipline and prevention. Standardize advanced fire drills and lead specialized training programs for local fire wardens and plant response teams.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or a strictly equivalent technical/polytechnic discipline.
• Demonstrated capability to review hydraulic calculations, evaluate fire pumpcurves, verify sprinkler density/area designs, interpret P&IDs, and audit fire alarm cause-and-effectmatrices.
• Native or professional-grade fluency in English, with impeccable technical report writing andcorporate presentation skills.
• Full flexibility and willingness to travel extensively across international manufacturing sites

• Exceptional capacity to lead, persuade, and align cross-functional, multicultural plant management and corporate teams through robust technical justification.
• Assertive negotiation skills to robustly safeguard Group interests against external consultants, contractors, or budget constraints.
• Ability to view fire safety through the lens of engineering risk and commercial
