As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll own the end-to-end development of ML solutions and data workflows within a dynamic team of data scientists, ML engineers, and Site Reliability Engineers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Owning the End-to-End development of ML solutions from gathering business requirements down to deploying solutions on the target infrastructure
• Acting as a thought leader in designing generic components for recurring activities in the data science lifecycle
• Actively supporting the business development of AI solutions
• Monitoring the end-to-end ML development process and its impact on the final product
• Presenting technical results of the team precisely and in a recipient-appropriate way
• Collaborating closely with ML engineers to further develop and future-proof the company’s platform's analytical and ML capabilities
• Independently screening the market for data science solutions, tools, and technologies, and promoting their active testing
• Actively shaping the data science development method in the sense of an ML-Ops target operating model
• Participating in internal meetups and external conferences to share achievements

To excel in the role of Data Scientist, you should possess:

• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, or another quantitative field
• 3+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or artificial intelligence
• Strong proficiency in Python and its libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, PyTorch, Keras)
• Professional experience with end-to-end AI product development, including operations and real-time ML model performance monitoring (ML-Ops)
• Strong foundational knowledge and proven track record of working with various data storage formats (e.g., Parquet, Avro, ORC, JSON, CSV), understanding their advantages and disadvantages
• Professional experience with data processing frameworks like Spark or Ray
• Familiarity with the consumption and integration of APIs within data pipelines
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is advantageous
• Ideally, knowledge and experience working with computer vision models, large language models, and other modern AI techniques
• Fluency in both written and spoken English, with excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
