The responsibilities of the Senior Accounting and Controlling specialist are:
- Ensure the integrity and timeliness of all financial statements, preparing consolidated reports for the company and statutory reports for local authorities in full compliance with IFRS and local accounting principles.
- Take full ownership of the month-end close, from managing the revenue recognition methodology to analyzing actual results against forecasts and providing insightful commentary on key movements.
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring that any discrepancies are resolved promptly and accurately to maintain a clean balance sheet.
- Design and implement robust internal controls to protect the company’s assets.
- Serve as a key liaison, fostering continuous engagement with critical partners and external auditors.
προσόντα
The qualifications of the Senior Accounting and Controlling specialist are:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business with emphasis on Accounting
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Class A' Accountant signature
- Strong knowledge of accounting, reporting and controlling processes
- IFRS knowledge
- Fluency in English is required
