Your Day-to-Day

• Architecting the Core: You will build and oversee Lakehouse and Warehouse models within Microsoft Fabric, ensuring every layer is performant, scalable, and perfectly aligned with complex business logic.
• Engineering Excellence: Leveraging PySpark (Notebooks), Dataflows Gen2, and Semantic Models, you will transform fragmented data into high-quality, actionable insights.
• Data Orchestration: You will own the scheduling and operational stability of pipelines, ensuring that data from diverse sources—ranging from SQL/NoSQL databases and REST APIs to IT telemetry and SaaS apps—flows seamlessly.
• Quality & Governance: You will champion data lineage, observability, and robustness, utilizing Fabric’s monitoring tools to guarantee a "single source of truth."

What Will Make You Stand Out

• The Foundation: A degree in Computer Science or Business IT and at least 4 years of proven experience in Data Engineering.
• The Tech Stack: Deep expertise in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem (Data Factory, Synapse, or Databricks) with a specialized focus—or a strong desire to master—Microsoft Fabric.
• Analytical Rigor: Strong SQL mastery and a deep understanding of dimensional modeling, medallion architecture, and performance tuning.
• Programming Prowess: Proficiency in Python or PowerShell to automate and enhance data workflows.
• Certification (Bonus): Holding a Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate or Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate certification is a significant plus.
