As IT Data Entry - Asset Inventory, your duties will be the following:

• Accurately inputting and updating telecom asset data (e.g., Colocation equipment, patch panels, racks, fiber cables, servers) into inventory systems.
• Conducting regular audits of physical and digital telecom assets across various locations like central offices and data centers.
• Assisting with the tagging, labeling, and cataloging of new assets during deployment and relocation.
• Tracking the movement, allocation, and decommissioning of telecom equipment.
• Reconciling physical inventory with system records and resolving any discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.
• Generating essential inventory reports for asset lifecycle management, audits, and regulatory compliance.
• Acting as a key point of contact for technical communications with customers, suppliers, field engineers, and local operations teams.
• Maintaining detailed documentation of asset configurations and warranty information.
• Project managing activation, change, and deactivation orders.

In order for your profile to match this IT Data Entry - Asset Inventory, you need to have the following:

• Diploma/BSc in IT or related field.
• Fluency in English
• Good knowledge in MS Excel and MS Office.
• The ability to read and interpret technical documents and network diagrams.
• Familiarity with basic telecom infrastructure components and terminology.
• Knowledge of main data center facilities (e.g., Colocation equipment, patch panel, rack, fiber cables, ODF).
• A basic understanding of telecom network topology (e.g., fiber routes, cell tower infrastructure).
• Car driving license

The following will be considered a plus:

• 1+ year of experience in data entry, telecom inventory, or asset management.

Basic telecom infrastructure components and terminology.
