Key Responsibilities:

• ERP Specialist & Champion: Takes full ownership of the company’s ERP environment (Danaos). The role involves deep-diving into ERP workflows, ensuring data integrity, and tailoring the system to meet the complex needs of maritime operations.
• Comprehensive Support: Provides high-level hardware, software & applications support (1st & 2nd level) for both local users and remote maritime systems.
• Fleet Connectivity: Manages the vital communication link between the office and the fleet. This includes setting up hardware and software on-site, with travel opportunities to ensure all units are fully integrated and operational.
• Strategic In-sourcing: Acts as the primary driver in transitioning IT support from external partners to a dedicated in-house function, gaining unparalleled insight into the company’s infrastructure.
• Cloud Transformation: Plays a leading role in the study and implementation of new Cloud technologies, moving the organization toward a more agile and modern digital footprint.

Requirements:

• ERP Foundations: Solid experience in managing or supporting ERP systems is essential. While specific knowledge of Danaos is a major advantage, the ability to learn and master maritime-specific software is what matters most.
• Educational Background: Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Technical Stack: Strong familiarity with Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Networking basics (VPNs, Firewalls, LAN/WAN).
• The "Maritime Spirit": A proactive mindset and a willingness to travel to the fleet's locations to perform hands-on setups and audits.
• Communication: Fluency in English is a must, as the role involves constant coordination with international crews and global partners.
