Your key responsibilities as a head of finance and accounting will be:● Lead all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and reporting.● Provide financial insight to guide business strategy and product pricing● Serve as a thought partner to the CEO and leadership team on all financial and operational matters.● Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports under US GAAP.● Oversee accounting operations for both the U.S. and Greece entities, ensuring proper financial consolidation and reporting.● Manage all statutory and tax filings, audits, and regulatory compliance in both jurisdictions.● Oversee inventory accounting for equipment across company’s warehouses.● Monitor and improve cost accounting systems and margin analysis.● Supervise customs processes, duties, and cross-border compliance in collaboration with operations teams.● Lead the use, maintenance, and optimization of QuickBooks and Soft1 ERP.● Recommend and implement improvements to the finance tech stack and workflows.● Drive automation and integration between systems across departments.● Design and maintain strong internal controls, financial policies, and audit readiness.● Monitor and manage financial risk exposure, compliance, and process efficiency.● Collaborate with legal counsel and external advisors on regulatory, contractual, accounting and tax matters.

In order for your profile to match the head of finance and accounting position, you need to have the following skills:

• Bsc in Accounting or Finance
• 5-7 years of experience in general ledger accounting experience is required
• A-class signing authority
• Experience in financial management
• Experience in supervising and organizing staff
• Strong knowledge of Accounting, Greek Accounting Standards (ELP), US GAAP and myDATA
• Experience in managing ERP programs, preferably Softone
• Good knowledge of tax regulations

• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• To-do mentality and great team player

5-7 years of experience in general ledger accounting experience is required
