As a Category Development Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Translate shopper behavior and retail data into actionable development plans for specific categories
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Key Account teams to design strategies that strengthen in-store presence and category performance
• Conduct retail audits and space analysis to optimize assortment and planogram efficiency
• Build compelling, data-supported proposals for retailers that support mutual growth
• Monitor key performance indicators and assess the impact of strategic initiatives
• Develop and maintain tools and dashboards to support commercial performance tracking
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners, including research agencies and retailer collaborators
• Act as a category ambassador, promoting a results-driven and collaborative culture

The ideal candidate should have:

• A degree in Marketing, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• A postgraduate degree will be considered an asset
• Experience working in the food industry or retail environment
• Solid exposure to cross-functional collaboration and retailer interactions

• Advanced skills in data interpretation (e.g. Nielsen, IRI, retail panels)
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience in Power BI or similar is a plus
• Strong stakeholder communication and influencing abilities
• Commercial acumen and strategic mindset
• Agile problem-solving and cross-functional coordination
• Fluency in Greek and English
