Your Key Responsibilities as an accounting and tax supervisor will be:

• Actual financial reporting, Month-End, Year-E
• Coordinate the monthly book close/ Submit the Monthly Results
• Plan, coordinate, and execute annual financial audit
• Run the monthly warehouse book and provide product costing information
• Prepare and submit the annual recycling statement
• Review My Data monthly
• Vendors and Customers master data maintenance
• Review accounting entries that will be done by Central Service Center
• Review the preparation / submission of VAT, Indirect Taxes
• Monitoring of promotional expenses & accruals
• Supervise Accounts re-conciliation of journal entries
• Supervise Accounts Payable
• Assist in the compilation of information for the Company’s annual tax returns
• Coordinate relationship with all public authorities and banks
• Develop and implement policies and procedures with emphasis on internal controls
• Special projects as required
• Reporting: Marketing Spend, Promotion, ad-hock reports
• Financial compliance to national law and Arla Foods’ financial policies/IFRS

To be an ideal candidate for this accounting and tax supervisor role you should have:

• A university degree in Economics, Finance or comparable qualification
• A recognized accountancy qualification - ideally CIMA and a Holder of a valid Greek accounting certification
• Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification work experience including leadership, ideally in the FMCG/food sector
• Hands-on experience with tax-audits and audits in general
• Skilled IT-user (SAP 4HANA, BW, MS-office)
• Fluent in Greek and English, both orally and written
