As the accounting supervisor in this company your responsibilities will include:

• Document financial transactions
• Prepare, review, and oversee the monthly and yearly tax obligations to ensure accurate and timely compliance with all relevant tax regulations
• Support the external accounting accounting office providing all relevant financial information
• Substantiate financial transactions by auditing document
• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedure
• Ensure compliance Greek GAAP accounting standards
• Follow up internal & external audit controls
• Monitor the process of GL issuance
• Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying the existing and the new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
• Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
• Lead and support the accounting team
• Prepare and review  financial statement (with local CFO)

The ideal candidate for the accounting supervisor position, should have:

• B.Sc. Degree in Accounting
• M.Sc. in Accounting & Finance is considered a plus
• ACCA qualification or other relevant professional certification is highly desirable
• 3-4 Years of Accounting & Tax experience
• Excellent knowledge of Greek GAAP
• Very good knowledge of Tax law
• Familiarity with Softone ERP is considered a plus
• Excellent digital skills, including Excel and financial reporting software
• Fluency in English (both written & oral)
