Key Responsibilities of Accounting & Finance Officer:

• Maintain daily cash flow updates in close coordination with the Operations and Chartering departments.
• Monitor and report incoming freight payments.
• Oversee outgoing payments including vessel hire, bunker invoices, disbursement accounts (DAs), and miscellaneous costs.
• Liaise daily with banks, primarily in Greece and occasionally in Dubai, to execute and monitor approximately 10 payment transactions per day.
• Prepare and present quarterly financial reports including balance sheets and profit & loss (P&L) statements.
• Contribute to a high-performance team environment, providing financial insights that support operational efficiency.

Requirements for Accounting & Finance Officer:

• Strong background in accounting and finance, preferably in the maritime or shipping industry.
• Proficient in preparing and analyzing financial statements (Balance Sheet & P&L).
• Excellent coordination skills and ability to manage multiple banking relationships.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills in English.
