As Software QA Engineer, you will play a vital role in the company’s product development process and you will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs, while being cost-effective. Ultimately, you should monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards. More specifically, your duties will include: 

• Review and analyze system specifications
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Execute automated test cases and analyze results
• Evaluate product code according to specifications
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

In order for your profile to match the Software QA Engineer position, you need to have the following skills:

• ≥ 2 years relevant professional experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience in automated testing tools like Cucumber, Webdriver, Selenium for UI and Postman or similar for REST services test
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest, Zephyr), SQL and Elasticsearch
• Knowledge of one scripting language like Javascript or Python
• Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English
• Completed military obligations, if applicable
