For our newly launched joint venture with Alpha Bank, we are seeking now to employ an operations manager!

As an operations manager at Nexi Group your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsibility to coordinate Operations areas ensuring efficient and effective management of all operational activities and providing services to customers in coordination with the CBO function
  • Setting up the operations for the NewCo, building up systems and processes.
  • Reporting to Chief Operating Officer NewCo, and supervising a team
  • Responsibility for the integration activities of the acquired book Merchants
  • Guarantees activities related to: set up and maintenance affiliated Merchants, set up Dispute management, in accordance with rules of the circuits (VISA, Mastercard…), acquisition and processing of transactions generated by POS transactions, clearing operations with schemes (e.g. VISA, Mastercard) and Merchant’s request, manage customer’s complaints
  • Check KPI and main indicators on the business performance of customers
  • Making cross-country and cross-corporate supply processes efficient through the use of innovative tools such as business process automation and artificial intelligence;
  • Identifies areas for improvement of operational processes for the related technological innovation and digitalization supervising the implementation of new functionalities for new or existing services;
  • Supports and / or manages the projects of competence interfacing with representatives of all the corporate areas involved (IT, Finance...), guaranteeing the achievement of goals and the respect of the deadlines and the budget defined
  • Supports corporate structures in identifying the operational impacts deriving from cross-functional projects as well as from new product and services development projects
  • Oversees the activities provided by external suppliers (in scope to the Operation function)


In order for your profile to match the operations manager position at Nexi Group, you need to have the following skills:

  • Bachelor's or/and Master's degree in business
  • Operations Project Management
  • Business process reengineering
  • Incident management
  • Resource management process
  • Testing procedures
  • Lean Six Sigma principles (plus)
  • Digital automation, Robotics & AI
  • Customer’s technological context (Payments)
  • Strategic leadership
  • English fluent
  • Experience in the world of Customer Operations, in particular in the financial and banking services sectors
  • Experience in the e-money sector at companies operating in the payments industry


  • Very good verbal and written communication skills to discuss
  • Strategic leadership
